Together, we are building peace through music and education while making the arts accessible to all.

About the Project

Pianos for Peace is a 501(c)3 not for profit organization based in Atlanta, GA that aims to achieve peace and promote philanthropy through art, music and education. Pianos for Peace is an annual outdoor festival of music using colorful, painted pianos to inspire artists and unite people in the community through shared values of beauty, truth and harmony. For three weeks every September, we bring beautifully painted pianos to public parks and streets throughout metro Atlanta for anyone to play and everyone to enjoy. As one of the largest public art display projects in our beloved city of Atlanta, the Pianos for Peace Festival has impacted an estimated two million Atlantans and visitors.

After the outdoor festival, the Pianos for Peace are donated to local schools, nursing homes, healthcare facilities and community centers where our volunteer artists will participate in year long meaningful programs making art accessible to all. More than 95 colorful Pianos for Peace have been donated to organizations in need throughout metro Atlanta. The Pianos for Peace team, staff, artists, volunteers and friends work hard all year round to plan this unique meaningful event. The Pianos for Peace Festival has been warmly received by the community and was featured on numerous world media outlets including CNN Connect The WorldABC News AtlantaNBC News AtlantaNPRAJC and FOX News Atlanta with an amazing one million views and counting!

Your generous support will help us cover the basic ongoing expenses of purchasing, moving, tuning, servicing and storing our Pianos for Peace.  With your contribution, our Ambassadors for Peace will be able to continue to transform lives and unite communities by building peace through music and education.

THANK YOU! Join our symphony for peace at www.PianosForPeace.org
