Building community through the cultural arts

About the Project

Sandy Spring Museum provides the environment and inspiration for individuals and organizations to create and host events, performances, activities, and exhibits that engage, stimulate and bring people together.

Each year we facilitate a dozen or more community-generated projects.  A project might be a high school student hosting an exhibit of her classmates' artwork, or an author hosting a signing for a self-published book.  The museum provides space, logistics, marketing, registration, professional support, and staffing - whatever if needed to make the program a success.
