Heartfelt southern humor scattered, smothered and covered in a spicy holiday sauce. The charming characters from our sell-out Waffle Palace are back in this long-awaited World Premiere sequel; full of fun, laughter, and Christmas cheer. Horizons exciting new Holiday tradition!

About the Project

Waffle Palace Christmas picks up with the Waffle Palace and staff, still in business, after having narrowly survived the dangers of urban development. Long-time, waitress Connie has invested her own savings to keep the Waffle Palace open and is now in partnership with her former boss, John Picket.  Connie and John are adapting to life as business partners.   As the play opens, the Waffle Palace holiday spirit is flowing for customers, staff and audience alike, sharing in a new tradition of decking out the Waffle Palace.  The ancient folklore devil, Krampus, attempts to foil the good cheer by using his powers to wreak havoc in the Waffle Palace.   Meanwhile, Esperanza and Hugo have returned from a long honeymoon (funded by the lottery she won) and are pregnant.    Eight actors play some 20 plus roles in this story about new beginnings and overcoming the darkness, and of course, an ending with a Christmas birth and Wiccans chanting in the parking lot.

Help start a new Holiday Tradition in Atlanta theatre.  The funding provided will help us support our local artists performing in the show, and all the elves that work behind the scenes to make the World Premiere of Waffle Palace Christmas a Success! Your donation will be matched dollar for dollar by the City of Atlanta and will go directly to covering the costs of the production, including actors, designers, crew, as well as the amazing costumes, sets, lighting and more.
