About This Project

MOCA GA's Museum Administration Residency Program - - training the next generation of arts leaders!

MOCA GA's Museum Administration Residency Program will offer graduate students interested in the field of arts administration a chance to get on-the-job experience in an art museum environment. Residents will work alongside the MOCA GA staff to provide administrative support in areas such as membership, special events, registration, archiving, education, marketing, grant writing/research as well as executive leadership. Each resident will have the opportunity to propose a new project or program to museum staff, which they will then implement. The goal of this program is to provide an opportunity for Atlanta's future arts leaders to gain invaluable knowledge of the field through hand-on learning. Potential residents will submit a resume and cover letter and qualified applicants be interviewed by the staff. Residencies will last for 6 months with a required 20 hours per month. Each resident will receive a $2,500 stipend.

Budget covers 2 residents at $2,500 each.
